WELCOME TO THE WEBPAGE OF THE BANCROFT SCHOOL SPEECH TEAM!!!
The Bancroft School Speech Team is a nationally recognized competitor in Speech and Forensics. We are in our third decade of competition and are proud members of the Massachusetts Speech and Debate League. We compete in MSDL tournaments as well as regionally at university tournaments such as Yale and Villiger. We have qualified members to compete at the NCFL and/or NSDA national tournaments each year for the past 20 years.

Team member Marcelo F. won the National Championship in Oral Interpretation of Literature at the 2014 NCFL Tournament. We have had four other team members place in the top 4 at the National Tournament.
Team members work with the coaches and captains to prepare their work for competition. Whether you are interested in acting, storytelling, poetry, current events or argumentation, there is an event for you.
